Hello, who of you guys is using an original Yamaha R1 fuel pump in a self made aluminium fuel tank.
I dismantled the fuel pump until only the bare pump was left ( I think the whole plastic thing is too big and would need to be installed from the bottom of the
tank)
Therefore i am planning of welding a 1 gallon fuel tank in which i gonna put the bare pump.
Did anybody of you did this before?
Thanks in advance
I'm curious who all out there is using a non-stock ECU in their car? Most of us are using the factory ECU plus maybe a power commander. I was interested
to see what alternate systems are being employed, such as Motec's, bazzaz, microtech, and so on. Is this as rare as I think it is, or are these folks just
quiet? <g>

I am in the process of making an motor pre-heater.

It works like this.

It is a seperate box containing a diesel water heater with dry break couplings.

You plumb it in to dry break couplings on the car and after about 20 minutes the motor is up to temperature without having to start it.
People with them say is saves about one engine strip in 3 beacuse the motors don't wear out so often.

that's the natural place to plumb in the cooler.

So what's the prevailing wisdom about what to do with the stock cooler lines? Do they need to be looped back together for proper oil flow, or is that just
a partial flow circuit and they ought be just capped off?
