i&#39;m about to pull the trigger on the AiM MXL Pista. i have zero experience with DA or fiddling with ECUs and such. i just want to do a quick gut check...

the engine, harness and ECU are all bone stock 2005 gsxr1000 at this point.</p>

<p>1. will i be able to utilize some of the stock sensors via this CAN protocol business?

2. can i use the stock sensors and still add analog sensors later? do the two mix well within the mysterious workings of the MXL brain?

      train,  radiators, oil coolers, etc. all weigh + or- a pound of each other.

The major  weight varibles seem to be the driver, chassis, suspension and body.

			<description><![CDATA[ I made a couple of seats from wet lay up epoxy/carbon fiber and they were ugly so I&#39;ve done a little sanding and filling and they look better but are still
very rough looking.  They, however, look great when wet.  I am weighing my options for clear coating these and I came across PJ1 clear coat &quot;epoxy&quot;
in a rattle can.  Anyone have any experience with this?  Any better suggestions?

			<description><![CDATA[ I&#39;ve noticed many of the parts on sports racers are similar to the formula 1000&#39;s and found this site that has good pricing on tons of stuff. I
didn&#39;t know if anyone else has bought parts from Phoenix since they specialize in F1000, but they used to build Maloy sports racers so they know what
they&#39;re doing and the parts are good quality.

			<description><![CDATA[ Hello all! I&#39;ve recently acquired a DSR chassis through my step-dad who picked it up from a client of his. My step-dad does race car fabrication and is
helping out a ton with this build. The guy we got it from said that he thinks it is an Astech chassis but we have no proof of this. I&#39;ve read through the
Astech chassis write up on the main page also. The hoop is SCCA stamped with region 33, which I believe is San Francisco. And the chassis code is 1543.
