Can you use shorter 350#, I have 5in, also have 300# 6in in lenght. These are Hypercoils 15 years old run in one test session.

No can do. I've got 6" 350# now that won't give me the ride height I need. Thanks for the response.

tighten springs to obtain proper ride height, install zip ties on spring to check for coil bind. Newer hypercoils have more travel before before coilbind.

I can't tighten the spring any more. I've run out of thread on the shock body. I need a longer spring. Thanks.

Hi Wayne,
Barney said you had a good race at IRP (ya, I know its ORP< but after 30 years...) I had the same problem, not enough length of spring. We turned some spacers out of aulminum that worked great. |

Dean,
Could do that, but would rather get the correct springs. Seven inch works fine. Jason (my son) drove at Indy. His first National. Out-qualified two Stohrs but got snookered at the start and only beat one. Thought you were going to be there? Wayne |
