My existing cooler looks similar to a Setrab 50-625-7612, 25 row, 11" wide. Installed with the rows vertical.
One option for an oil cooler is a Laminova in line oil/water cooler. (batinc.com) I have seen what looks to be an EC54-329 in a Busa powered car. The Laminova guys in Sweden think a C43-330 or 180 would do the trick for a GSXR 1000 at 200hp. (lots more HP than I have in a stock 02) Does anyone have history or thoughts?
Another option is a Setrab cooler. I have room for something 12" wide & 12" high + fittings. Would involve creating a side pod air duct with an air entry from the front. Fair bit of work but not impossible. Thoughts?
Oil cooler by-pass thermostat - needed or not? Not with the laminar flow cooler but possible with the Setrab? Tape also works if you have easy access to the cooler. A thermostat is another thing to fail.
