Registered User Posts: 974 11/03/07 20:24:48	Yes, the FB / F1000 Championship is starting this year at Road Atlanta. Amazing what a little promotion can do. SCCA should allow the class into the Runoffs someday. But by then, it may be a fixture at Road Atlanta. That could be an unintended consequence of SCCA's new Runoffs eligibility rules.

Registered User Posts: 1853 11/04/07 09:20:30	FE has qualified for the 2008 Runoffs, and having 40 of them at HPT next October would be awesome! FB can qualify for the 2009 Runoffs with a solid National racing effort. 2010 might be more realistic given that a class needs about 50 active National racers to gain a spot. Posts: 0 11/04/07 12:17:05	For those interested, here is what 3 regional racers were able to accomplish to support their class- (click on 8/28 news, which is a bit outdated. We have added since then!) www.formula1000.com/ Rather than bellyache and ask why participation was low, and where everyone was, we did something about it. All it takes is a bit of effort to make any event special.
