I autocross in the A MOD class and in this class the underside of the car is unrestricted. Most classes have some kind of flat bottom rule, so all of the information out there is derived from flat bottom rules. But I need to think out of that box.
My idea is to have the bottom of the car made to be one air foil after the other, almost like a corrugated sheet and a diffuser at the back to help air exit, side skirts to help hold the air under the car. Basically the air will move thru one venturi after another then exit out the back. I think there will need to be a small flat area between each airfoil to help keep the air attached to the bottom. This will be just under the main chassis, the car will have sidepods. The car will be balanced with wings front and rear. Any opinions.
