This seems to be the summer of my discontent. Or at least the summer of me not getting a decent weekend at the track.
Testing at Mosport today, two good sessions, then a pesky injector o-ring decides to start leaking. Off with the fuel rail, on with new o-rings, no more leaks, and all should be well.
Out onto the track an the car is a complete DOG. Idles fine, but ANY application of throttle and the engine bogs and falls completely flat on it's face. Off the throttle, the engine then revs again and falls back to idle. Try to give it a some throttle, same thing again. Rinse. Repeat.
Pulled the rail, ohmed out the injectors, wireing harness, changed ECUs, swapped out the IAPS and APS, checked fuel pressure (perfect) and flow (plenty). Tried with and without power commander, and tried altering the map on the power commander. Changed plugs and coils.
I didn't swap Throttle Position Sensor, but did look at it's output on the Power Commander software on my laptop, and all appears well.
The fuel injectors JUST came back from the shop last week (cleaned and tested 100%). I'm rapidly running out of ideas.
Any thoughts?
