Bill,
Here are Yahoo Photo links to photos of the SR party and some misc (mostly) grid photos of SRs. At your convenience, would you share these on the forum?
Thanks,
Jim Beltz (speedway66)

Thanks Jim, for the photos. The grid shots of the cars are very nice, especially the one you got of my car!

Does anyone know (Mr. Mayfield reading this) what those bumps just fore of the mirrors on Ralph Mayfields Stohr are for?

I'm pretty sure those provide clearance for suspension parts.

Joseph, If I told you I would have to put out a hit on you. Just kidding. Originally these were used to divert air flow to the radiators rather than use Lee's inlet flaps which created some additional drag. After we relocated the radiators and added inlet and outlet ducts they were no longer needed. During some coast down testing my mechanic Gerrit Perkins suggested we see how they affected aero performance. We were suprised to find that they reduced drag and improved the top wing efficiency. The ones that we are using now are the fith generation design and the placemet and angle of attack is critical. The original design idea came from the Audi R8, but after a lot of ATF and coast down testing we came up with the current design.
