A pair of questions about master cylinders for you:
1.) Are there any noteworthy differences from brand to brand (Wilwood, Girling, Tilton, AP, etc) in terms of quality/longevity etc? Searching here and ApexSpeed revealed an occasional grumble about Wilwood masters. Specifically, Lee Stohr mentioned moving from Wilwood to Tilton masters solved some issues for them. I currently have Girlings in my Radical, which seem to be original from 2000 when the car was new. No issues.
2.) In regards to the reservoir configuration, cars I've seen seem to be split 50/50 among the integral reservoir on top of a master cylinder, versus one large common reservoir feeding all three masters. Pros/Cons of each approach? Pro of the common reservoir would seem the simplicity, but the con would seem that if you lose a fitting one one hose, the entire reservoir drains, thus affecting all three masters, and in the process, you lose the redundancy of your brake system. Or, is there a divider in those large common reservoirs?
