Bob Allen, a good friend known to many of you, who has been a member of the Sports Car Club of America for
nearly 44 years, was involved in an accident recently while tending his property and I believe your support would be appreciated.
On July 28 Bob suffered multiple breaks to his "bad" leg which was previously broken in a racing
accident at Laguna Seca many years ago.
Bob raced against the likes of Mario Andretti and Al Unser Sr. back in the day, has owned, designed and raced
many cars throughout his career, is an avid SCCA supporter who has 97 wins to his credit over his 32 year racing career and can be found attending SCCA events
in Northern California to this day.
I encourage those of you who know Bob and have been in touch with him to contact him via whatever methods you
usually use to show your support during his rehabilitation.
