I'm limited to regional racing (SCCA, NASA, PCA) so I figured this would be a good first DSR for me. Being a PCA member, the two seat set up works in my favor. But, I don't know the marque or engine except what's on Tom's chassis/engine pages. The current owner hasn't raced this car in a year due to family obligations. So I'm assuming it's basically race ready. My concern is upgrading to a modern engine and/or suspension. Good or bad idea? Vintage racing doesn't exist in my region of the country so going vintage racing is a no go.
Your thoughts, comments, and advice are welcome.
Thanks, Mitch
