Treaded Bluestreaks on Chassis Engineering aluminum wheels with one each spare front and rear wheel, plus rain tires mounted on light alloy wheels.
Ocelot-built 750cc Suzuki 3-cylinder, 2-stroke turns 9500 rpm easily, three expansion chambers, three Mikuni carburetors, 3-coil Pertronix ignition, close-ratio 5-speed sequential transmission, Jones tachometer with tell-tale.
Spares include two stock engines, suspension parts, chain, alternate-ratio drive sprockets, 2 fiberglass doors, carb jets & needles etc.
I have raced the Quasar in Midwestern Council and VSCDA vintage races, and the car is a good handling, reliable finisher, with very low operating costs. Car ran 1st and finished 2nd at the 1976 SCCA National Championship races and was 1982 DSR Midwestern Council champ.
