I was very fortunate to get by without incident with a serious fuel leak.
GDRE cleaned all 8 injectors and I inadvertantly damaged an O-ring replacing one of them.
I did not lubricate the o-rings which I now know to do.
I drove the car 60 miles on Sat. and it ran great.
Sunday I started the engine before climbing in for a drive and was greeted with a 50 psi leak.
Why it did not leak the day before????
I am not able to find a 10 micron compact inline fuel filter.
The Earl's # 230106erl turns out to be 35 microns.
I would appreciate make and model and dealer of appropiate filters for our MC injectors

I use the GPI 151 from the link below. It is comes apart to clean and should be placed on the inlet side of the pump.

I used the larger one because it has a larger filter screen. James Kuhns uses the
smaller one and has had no trouble that I know of. I started using the larger one two cars ago and just stuck with it. Bill Lomenick |
